Anyone else feel this way? We have two kids and Median household income is $163,544, which feels pretty solid for the area. Poverty rate is 3.3%, which is pretty low. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Does this match your experience? Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.
I'm a data analyst who relocated here from Austin about 14 years ago. The main reasons were retirement and family.
Pros I've experienced:
- Nice parks and green spaces
- Affordable housing options
- Strong sense of community
Cons that are real:
- Rising rent and home prices
- Nightlife is limited
Financially, we've found it hit or miss compared to where we came from. If you look outside the main areas you can find deals. Groceries are competitive, gas is hit or miss.
Socially, it's been a really good experience overall. Feel free to reach out with questions..
