Hello, I'm a college student here and The unemployment rate is 2.6%, which is pretty low. Median household income is $163,544, which feels pretty solid for the area. Homes are going for about $870,300 on average. Crime rate is something to consider -El Dorado Hills sits at 107.7 per 100K. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The suburbs are where most families end up. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Anyone in a similar situation? The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that.
