Housing market in El Dorado Hills right now

The unemployment rate is 2.6%, which is pretty low. Crime rate is something to consider -El Dorado Hills sits at 107.7 per 100K. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. What would you do? Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood.

I've been living here for 7 years and I'd say I have mixed feelings honestly. The healthcare is excellent compared to other places I've lived. Overall Feel free to reach out with questions..

Hot take but I have mixed feelings honestly. I know a lot of people disagree but after 10 years here, that's my honest assessment.

Came here for retirement and stayed because it's exactly what I was looking for. The housing market is honestly underrated and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 7 years ago from Boston and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Lots of new construction which should help. We're paying /mo for a 1-bed in Eastside. It's solid for what you get.

Jobs: The market is developing right now, especially in hospitality. If you're in engineering you might struggle.

People: Generally average. It took about 4 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: decent. Tons of options if you like Korean.

Feel free to reach out with questions..

Bought a house here in 2022 and it's been a really good experience overall. Property values have gone up significantly since then.

I'm a physical therapist and I've found I genuinely enjoy living here. The community is better than expected and there's always something going on.

Used to live on the Maple Ridge side, now on the Midtown side. Completely different vibe. it was the best decision I ever made.

I've lived in Old Town for about 12 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it's been a really good experience overall. When I first moved here from Nashville, I was surprised by dating scene. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Decent public transit for the size
- Active local events and festivals
- The food scene scene is surprisingly good

The downsides:
- Urban sprawl is real
- Limited entertainment options

Overall I'd rate it 7/10 for singles. Happy to answer more specific questions..
