It's a a small town city with about 12,882 people. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. It's not perfect, but the community is solid.

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want dating scene, then yeah this place is great. But if outdoor recreation matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.

I've been living here for 12 years and I'd say the quality of life is solid. The pet-friendliness is solid compared to other places I've lived. Overall Feel free to reach out with questions..

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.
If you value walkability, you'll love it. The community vibe is genuinely decent and I've found there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. My neighborhood (Greenfield) is manageable and I feel safe walking around at night.
But if you're coming from Boston, be prepared for the culture shock. community vibe is completely different here. And Can feel isolated.
My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 3-bedroom. it's exactly what I was looking for. Compared to Minneapolis it's tough.

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is cultural scene. I'm still on the fence after all this time. Worth doing your research before committing.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.
I'm a real estate agent who relocated here from Chicago about 11 years ago. The main reasons were a job opportunity and work.
Pros I've experienced:
- Good airport with direct flights
- Diverse dining options
- Lots of family-friendly activities
Cons that are real:
- Not a lot of cultural diversity
- Dating scene is rough
Financially, we've found it average compared to where we came from. The market is competitive but not impossible. Groceries are wild, gas is improving.
Socially, it's exactly what I was looking for. Would recommend to anyone considering it..

Weather-wise, the summers are underrated and winters are growing. You get used to it after the first year.

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. I love the pace of life here. Internet is average in most areas.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.
I'm a chef who relocated here from New York about 10 years ago. The main reasons were a fresh start and school.
Pros I've experienced:
- Growing food and restaurant scene
- Lots of new development happening
- Good internet infrastructure
Cons that are real:
- Limited shopping options
- Bugs and humidity in summer
Financially, we've found it solid compared to where we came from. Lots of new construction which should help. Groceries are pricey, gas is surprisingly good.
Socially, I have mixed feelings honestly. Would recommend to anyone considering it..
