Life in El Dorado as a young professional

Anyone else feel this way? We're a young couple and Household incomes average around $54,828 in El Dorado. Poverty rate is 16.1%, which is higher than I expected. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Any advice would be great.

Hey, We have two kids and Rent is about $877/month for a decent place. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly.

Hello, The median home value here is around $113,800, which is actually reasonable. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Is this normal for El Dorado? Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting.
