Best coffee shops in Elizabeth?

OK so We have two kids and Crime rate is something to consider — Elizabeth sits at 719.2 per 100K. You can expect to pay around $1,463 for rent here. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable.

As someone who grew up here, I'm still on the fence after all this time. A lot has changed in the past few years though. school system used to be much stable but now it's decent.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a software engineer who relocated here from Atlanta about 15 years ago. The main reasons were cost of living and cost of living.

Pros I've experienced:
- Great outdoor activities nearby
- Good healthcare facilities
- Strong job market in several industries

Cons that are real:
- Limited shopping options
- Bugs and humidity in summer

Financially, we've found it underrated compared to where we came from. Older homes are where the value is. Groceries are competitive, gas is underrated.

Socially, it was the best decision I ever made. Feel free to reach out with questions..
