Commute times in Elizabeth — how bad?

I'm a teacher here and Crime rate is something to consider — Elizabeth sits at 719.2 per 100K. Average temperature is around 56°F, so the weather is moderate. Poverty rate is 11.6%, which is around average. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The city has invested a lot in new development. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The weather takes some getting used to. I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is walkability. it's been a really good experience overall. Worth doing your research before committing.
