How is the nightlife in Elizabeth?

Random thought, Been living here since 2012. It's a a mid-size city city with about 136K people. You can expect to pay around $1,463 for rent here. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Let me know your thoughts. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 1-bedroom. there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. Compared to Minneapolis it's pretty good.

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are surprisingly good, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a sales manager who relocated here from Portland about 4 years ago. The main reasons were quality of life and quality of life.

Pros I've experienced:
- Great outdoor activities nearby
- Nice parks and green spaces
- Good healthcare facilities

Cons that are real:
- Not very walkable outside downtown
- Bugs and humidity in summer

Financially, we've found it excellent compared to where we came from. Older homes are where the value is. Groceries are stable, gas is surprisingly good.

Socially, it was the best decision I ever made. Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..

Hot take but there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. I know a lot of people disagree but after 15 years here, that's my honest assessment.
