Should I move to Elkhart or stay in Albuquerque?

So, I'm a remote worker and It's a a smaller city city with about 53,726 people. The weather takes some getting used to. What do you all think? It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The food scene here is surprisingly good. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Bought a house here in 2019 and there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. Property values have gone about the same since then.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem solid.

I've been here 10 years and it exceeded my expectations. The thing nobody mentions is cultural scene. It's competitive and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the job market is legit. And if you're into surfing, this place is solid.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Oak Park side vs the Pine Hills side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.
