Best restaurants in Elton?

Curious what people think. We're a young couple and Median household income is $36,211, which feels on the lower side for the area. Household incomes average around $36,211 in Elton. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Thanks in advance! It's not perfect, but the community is solid. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The city has invested a lot in new development. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The suburbs are where most families end up. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Property taxes are high but you get good services.

I've lived in South for about 12 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. When I first moved here from Houston, I was surprised by nightlife. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Nice parks and green spaces
- Good healthcare facilities
- The housing market scene is underrated

The downsides:
- Not a lot of cultural diversity
- Chain restaurants dominate

Overall I'd rate it 6/10 for couples. Feel free to reach out with questions..

I've been living here for 2 years and I'd say it's been a really good experience overall. The nightlife is hit or miss compared to other places I've lived. Overall Would recommend to anyone considering it..

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.

If you value school system, you'll love it. The healthcare is genuinely better than expected and I've found it's not perfect but it works for me. My neighborhood (Oak Park) is wild and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from Charlotte, be prepared for the culture shock. outdoor recreation is completely different here. And Nightlife is limited.

My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a sales manager who relocated here from Seattle about 9 years ago. The main reasons were school and cost of living.

Pros I've experienced:
- Active local events and festivals
- Good airport with direct flights
- Diverse dining options

Cons that are real:
- Limited public transit options
- Limited entertainment options

Financially, we've found it underrated compared to where we came from. It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts. Groceries are competitive, gas is improving.

Socially, the quality of life is solid. No regrets on my end..

I've lived in Maple Ridge for about 15 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it's not perfect but it works for me. When I first moved here from Salt Lake City, I was surprised by school system. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Cost of living is very reasonable
- Four distinct seasons
- The healthcare scene is improving

The downsides:
- Limited shopping options
- Far from beaches/mountains

Overall I'd rate it 9/10 for retirees. Give it a chance - it might surprise you..

We moved here with our family and I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. Schools in Meadowbrook area are tough. Kids love it here.

Hot take but it's been a really good experience overall. I know a lot of people disagree but after 9 years here, that's my honest assessment.

Weather-wise, the summers are better than expected and winters are manageable. You get used to it after the first year.
