Dog-friendly places in Evanston?

Anyone else feel this way? I'm retired and You can expect to pay around $1,698 for rent here. Average temperature is around 50--F, so expect cold winters. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Let me know your thoughts. Thanks for reading.

My experience has been mostly positive. I genuinely enjoy living here. The only thing I'd watch out for is school system. Other than that, It's not for everyone but it works for us..

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.

If you value public transit, you'll love it. The dating scene is genuinely tough and I've found it's been a really good experience overall. My neighborhood (Maple Ridge) is growing and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from Charlotte, be prepared for the culture shock. food scene is completely different here. And Summers can be brutally hot.

My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.

As someone who grew up here, I have mixed feelings honestly. A lot has changed in the past few years though. food scene used to be much pricey but now it's improving.

I work in education here and I have mixed feelings honestly. The job market for my field is tough. Good luck with whatever you decide..
