Curious what people think. We're a young couple and With a population of 76,552, Evanston is a smaller city. Rent is about $1,698/month for a decent place. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Anyone in a similar situation? The city has invested a lot in new development. The suburbs are where most families end up.
