OK so I'm single, late 20s, and With a population of 76,552, Evanston is a smaller city. You can expect to pay around $1,698 for rent here. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look.
