Alright, I'm a nurse at the local hospital and Average temperature is around 59--F, so the weather is moderate. Median household income is $142,402, which feels pretty solid for the area. Household incomes average around $142,402 in Farragut. With a population of 24,309, Farragut is a small town. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. What are your go-to spots? TIA! Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The weather takes some getting used to. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. As someone who grew up here, I'm still on the fence after all this time. A lot has changed in the past few years though. cost of living used to be much affordable but now it's tough.

OK I'm going to write a proper review because I've seen too many incomplete answers.
Background: I'm a writer, 46, moved here 4 years ago from Seattle. I've lived in Highland and Oak Park, and traveled to most parts of the metro.
**What I love:**
1. Low crime in most neighborhoods
2. Good healthcare facilities
3. Diverse dining options
4. The people are generally underrated - I found my community within the first year
**What I don't love:**
1. Traffic during rush hour is rough
2. Limited high-paying job options
3. The job market situation is affordable and doesn't seem to be improving
**Neighborhoods I'd recommend:**
- Highland: Great for couples. hit or miss vibes, walkable.
- Oak Park: More affordable, family-friendly.
**Neighborhoods I'd avoid:**
- Without naming names, stay away from areas east of downtown until you know the city better.
**Cost comparison:**
Coming from Seattle, everything felt pretty good. Rent is about /mo. Groceries are reasonable. Gas is established. You can live comfortably on $70K-$110K here.
**Final verdict:**
Definitely worth checking out.. It's not perfect - nowhere is - but for the price point and quality of life, it's hard to beat. DM me if you have specific questions.

I've lived in Pine Hills for about 5 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.
the quality of life is solid. When I first moved here from Charlotte, I was surprised by food scene. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.
A few things worth knowing:
- Friendly community, easy to meet people
- Growing food and restaurant scene
- The housing market scene is improving
The downsides:
- Road conditions need improvement
- Homeless population growing downtown
Overall I'd rate it 5/10 for couples. Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..

there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. When I first moved here from Tampa, I was surprised by cultural scene. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.
A few things worth knowing:
- Nice parks and green spaces
- Good internet infrastructure
- The housing market scene is average
The downsides:
- Nightlife is limited
- Dating scene is rough
Overall I'd rate it 5/10 for families. Feel free to reach out with questions..
