First post here. It's a a smaller city city with about 40,280 people. You can expect to pay around $917 for rent here. The weather takes some getting used to. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Should I be concerned? The weather takes some getting used to.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem challenging.
I've been here 8 years and I genuinely enjoy living here. The thing nobody mentions is traffic. It's growing and it affects daily life more than you'd think.
That said, the walkability is legit. And if you're into fishing, this place is average.
Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Old Town side vs the Maple Ridge side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.
It's not for everyone but it works for us..

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 3-bedroom. there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. Compared to New York it's tough.
