Been meaning to ask this. Military spouse here. The median home value here is around $183,300, which is actually reasonable. With a population of 40,280, Findlay is a smaller city. Rent is about $917/month for a decent place. Poverty rate is 8.4%, which is pretty low. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The food scene here is surprisingly good. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. What would you do? It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly.

Hot take but it's been a really good experience overall. I know a lot of people disagree but after 5 years here, that's my honest assessment.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 9 years ago from Dallas and here's my honest breakdown:
Housing: Lots of new construction which should help. We're paying /mo for a 2-bed in Fairview. It's decent for what you get.
Jobs: The market is established right now, especially in retail. If you're in construction you might struggle.
People: Generally improving. It took about 15 months to build a solid friend group.
Food: average. Tons of options if you like farm-to-table.
Feel free to reach out with questions..

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want food scene, then yeah this place is great. But if pet-friendliness matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.
