Been meaning to ask this. I'm a teacher here and Average temperature is around 52--F, so expect cold winters. With a population of 7,082, Fircrest is a small town. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Property taxes are high but you get good services. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. It's not perfect, but the community is solid.
