I'm single, late 30s, and Crime rate is something to consider -Florence sits at 437.2 per 100K. With a population of 5,027, Florence is a small town. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Would love some local perspective. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The city has invested a lot in new development. The city has invested a lot in new development. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look.
