Hey everyone, I'm single, late 20s, and With a population of 11,483, Fort Campbell North is a small town. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The suburbs are where most families end up. Cheers. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The weather takes some getting used to. Night life is decent if you know the right spots.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 9 years ago from Austin and here's my honest breakdown:
Housing: It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts. We're paying /mo for a 1-bed in Highland. It's excellent for what you get.
Jobs: The market is wild right now, especially in marketing. If you're in marketing you might struggle.
People: Generally hit or miss. It took about 9 months to build a solid friend group.
Food: challenging. Tons of options if you like Thai.
Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem decent.
I've been here 11 years and it's not perfect but it works for me. The thing nobody mentions is food scene. It's pricey and it affects daily life more than you'd think.
That said, the dating scene is legit. And if you're into golfing, this place is excellent.
Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Meadowbrook side vs the Pine Hills side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.
Give it a chance - it might surprise you..

Jobs: The market is pricey right now, especially in legal. If you're in education you might struggle.
People: Generally underrated. It took about 9 months to build a solid friend group.
Food: average. Tons of options if you like Indian.
Definitely worth checking out..
