Should I move to Fort Loramie or stay in Raleigh?

Hey everyone, Homes are going for about $245,000 on average. The unemployment rate is 1.3%, which is pretty low. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The suburbs are where most families end up. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Would love some local perspective. Thanks in advance! The food scene here is surprisingly good. Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem average.

I've been here 3 years and I'm still on the fence after all this time. The thing nobody mentions is dating scene. It's established and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the nightlife is legit. And if you're into golfing, this place is tough.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Downtown side vs the North side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Good luck with whatever you decide..

Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, it's not perfect but it works for me. Hope this helps!.
