Is Fort Morgan good for remote workers?

I'm a college student here and The unemployment rate is 4.1%, which is about average. Poverty rate is 13.4%, which is around average. The city has invested a lot in new development. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. What would you do? Thanks! The weather takes some getting used to. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The suburbs are where most families end up.

Bought a house here in 2018 and I love the pace of life here. Property values have gone up significantly since then.

I'm a marketing manager and I've found I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. The community is surprisingly good and there's always something going on.

I've lived in Westside for about 5 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

I have mixed feelings honestly. When I first moved here from Baltimore, I was surprised by traffic. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Growing food and restaurant scene
- Good healthcare facilities
- The dating scene scene is average

The downsides:
- Winters are long and cold
- Not a lot of cultural diversity

Overall I'd rate it 7/10 for young professionals. Good luck with whatever you decide..

The food scene here is improving. Tons of great Italian places. I genuinely enjoy living here.

OK I'm going to write a proper review because I've seen too many incomplete answers.

Background: I'm a real estate agent, 54, moved here 9 years ago from Boston. I've lived in Springfield and The Heights, and traveled to most parts of the metro.

**What I love:**
1. Great outdoor activities nearby
2. Growing food and restaurant scene
3. Nice parks and green spaces
4. The people are generally solid - I found my community within the first year

**What I don't love:**
1. Traffic during rush hour is rough
2. Limited public transit options
3. The dating scene situation is established and doesn't seem to be improving

**Neighborhoods I'd recommend:**
- Springfield: Great for remote workers. improving vibes, walkable.
- The Heights: More affordable, family-friendly.

**Neighborhoods I'd avoid:**
- Without naming names, stay away from areas east of downtown until you know the city better.

**Cost comparison:**
Coming from Boston, everything felt excellent. Rent is about /mo. Groceries are affordable. Gas is developing. You can live comfortably on $90K-$110K here.

**Final verdict:**
No regrets on my end.. It's not perfect - nowhere is - but for the price point and quality of life, it's hard to beat. DM me if you have specific questions.
