Biggest downsides of living in Fort Thomas?

Longtime lurker here, I work in government and With a population of 17,242, Fort Thomas is a small town. You can expect to pay around $1,095 for rent here. The unemployment rate is 2.3%, which is pretty low. Crime rate is something to consider -Fort Thomas sits at 30.5 per 100K. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. What do you all think? Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. I'd say it's better for families than young singles.

I work in consulting here and it's been a really good experience overall. The job market for my field is surprisingly good. Give it a chance - it might surprise you..
