Hello, Born and raised here. With a population of 17,242, Fort Thomas is a small town. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Am I wrong here? Appreciate any input. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that.

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. it's not perfect but it works for me. Internet is underrated in most areas.

We moved here with our family and it's been a really good experience overall. Schools in Meadowbrook area are pretty good. Kids love it here.

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.
If you value cultural scene, you'll love it. The food scene is genuinely solid and I've found it was the best decision I ever made. My neighborhood (Sunset) is affordable and I feel safe walking around at night.
But if you're coming from Miami, be prepared for the culture shock. cultural scene is completely different here. And Summers can be brutally hot.
My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are solid, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.
I'm a sales manager who relocated here from LA about 1 years ago. The main reasons were family and weather.
Pros I've experienced:
- Great outdoor activities nearby
- Low crime in most neighborhoods
- Strong job market in several industries
Cons that are real:
- Urban sprawl is real
- Limited entertainment options
Financially, we've found it underrated compared to where we came from. Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. Groceries are established, gas is improving.
Socially, it was the best decision I ever made. Hope this helps!.
