Quick question about Fountain Inn
Hi all, I'm single, late 40s, and With a population of 11,307, Fountain Inn is a small town. Any advice would be great.

I've been living here for 8 years and I'd say I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. The walkability is tough compared to other places I've lived. Overall Would recommend to anyone considering it..

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 8 years ago from Austin and here's my honest breakdown:
Housing: It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts. We're paying /mo for a 2-bed in Westside. It's average for what you get.
Jobs: The market is reasonable right now, especially in finance. If you're in retail you might struggle.
People: Generally underrated. It took about 13 months to build a solid friend group.
Food: challenging. Tons of options if you like Indian.
No regrets on my end..

As someone who grew up here, it exceeded my expectations. A lot has changed in the past few years though. cultural scene used to be much stable but now it's improving.

Food: average. Tons of options if you like Korean.
It's not for everyone but it works for us..

Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, it's improved dramatically in recent years. Give it a chance - it might surprise you..
