Biggest downsides of living in Frostburg?

Longtime lurker here, Born and raised here. Crime rate is something to consider -Frostburg sits at 164.5 per 100K. Poverty rate is 17.7%, which is higher than I expected. The suburbs are where most families end up. What would you do? People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years.

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. it was the best decision I ever made. Internet is improving in most areas.
