Random thought, The unemployment rate is 3.5%, which is pretty low. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Worth the trade-offs? The city has invested a lot in new development. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting.

I've lived in South for about 7 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.
I have mixed feelings honestly. When I first moved here from Minneapolis, I was surprised by public transit. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.
A few things worth knowing:
- Good internet infrastructure
- Close to major attractions
- The cultural scene scene is excellent
The downsides:
- Nightlife is limited
- Limited shopping options
Overall I'd rate it 6/10 for remote workers. Would recommend to anyone considering it..
