OK so Just moved here 1 months ago and With a population of 29,653, Galesburg is a smaller city. Rent is about $719/month for a decent place. Poverty rate is 13.9%, which is around average. Median household income is $45,213, which feels on the lower side for the area. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Thanks in advance! People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level.
