Job hunting in Gallatin -tips?
Been meaning to ask this. I'm single, late 30s, and Homes are going for about $126,400 on average. The unemployment rate is 2.2%, which is pretty low. Poverty rate is 16.4%, which is higher than I expected. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. What would you do? It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The weather takes some getting used to. Property taxes are high but you get good services. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The suburbs are where most families end up. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The city has invested a lot in new development. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The weather takes some getting used to.
