Honest thoughts on life in Gettysburg
First post here. I've been here for 1 years and The unemployment rate is 2.9%, which is pretty low. With a population of 7,929, Gettysburg is a small town. You can expect to pay around $929 for rent here. The median home value here is around $237,000, which is actually reasonable. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Has anyone dealt with this? Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods.
