Longtime lurker here, Born and raised here. Crime rate is something to consider -Gettysburg sits at 378.2 per 100K. It's a a small town city with about 7,929 people. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Is this normal for Gettysburg?

Hey, We're a young couple and Poverty rate is 7.5%, which is pretty low. Median household income is $52,656, which feels on the lower side for the area. The weather takes some getting used to. The city has invested a lot in new development. Would love some local perspective. Thanks for reading.
