Been living here since 2024. Median household income is $250,001, which feels pretty solid for the area. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Am I wrong here? First time home buyer in Glencoe

Hi all, Homes are going for about $1,354,900 on average. It's a a small town city with about 8,715 people. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Has anyone dealt with this? The suburbs are where most families end up. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look.
