Hi all, Homes are going for about $198,500 on average. The unemployment rate is 1.9%, which is pretty low. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. What would you do? There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 12 years ago from Nashville and here's my honest breakdown:
Housing: Lots of new construction which should help. We're paying /mo for a 3-bed in Cedar Grove. It's improving for what you get.
Jobs: The market is established right now, especially in construction. If you're in hospitality you might struggle.
People: Generally average. It took about 10 months to build a solid friend group.
Food: surprisingly good. Tons of options if you like Mexican.
