Things that make Grain Valley unique

My family moved here when I was a kid. Household incomes average around $87,266 in Grain Valley. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Would love some local perspective. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The weather takes some getting used to. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly.

I've lived in Midtown for about 7 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

I have mixed feelings honestly. When I first moved here from Miami, I was surprised by cost of living. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Nice parks and green spaces
- Decent public transit for the size
- The community vibe scene is pretty good

The downsides:
- Limited shopping options
- Bugs and humidity in summer

Overall I'd rate it 9/10 for families. Feel free to reach out with questions..
