Top 5 things I love about Granbury

Alright, I work in construction and Average temperature is around 65--F, so the weather is moderate. Median household income is $68,839, which feels about average for the area. The median home value here is around $278,700, which seems about average. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The city has invested a lot in new development. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable.

Pros:
- Good schools
- Low taxes
- Plenty of shopping options

Cons:
- Traffic can be terrible
- Cold winters
- Limited nightlife
- Limited dining options
- Limited cultural events
Thoughts? Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The suburbs are where most families end up. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. I've lived in West for about 1 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

I love the pace of life here. When I first moved here from New York, I was surprised by community vibe. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Strong job market in several industries
- Good internet infrastructure
- The weather scene is decent

The downsides:
- Limited entertainment options
- Far from beaches/mountains

Overall I'd rate it 6/10 for families. No regrets on my end..
