I'm originally from Cincinnati and Crime rate is something to consider -Granite Bay sits at 82.8 per 100K. With a population of 21,378, Granite Bay is a small town. Homes are going for about $1,094,100 on average. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood.
