Hey everyone, Household incomes average around $58,268 in Green Valley. Night life is decent if you know the right spots.

I've lived in Riverside for about 14 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.
I love the pace of life here. When I first moved here from Salt Lake City, I was surprised by cultural scene. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.
A few things worth knowing:
- Cost of living is very reasonable
- Decent public transit for the size
- The cost of living scene is average
The downsides:
- Not very walkable outside downtown
- Road conditions need improvement
Overall I'd rate it 5/10 for families. Happy to answer more specific questions..

My experience has been mostly positive. it exceeded my expectations. The only thing I'd watch out for is community vibe. Other than that, Good luck with whatever you decide..

I've been living here for 5 years and I'd say it's not perfect but it works for me. The walkability is pretty good compared to other places I've lived. Overall Hope this helps!.

Bought a house here in 2017 and it's exactly what I was looking for. Property values have gone up a bit since then.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem hit or miss.
I've been here 13 years and it's not perfect but it works for me. The thing nobody mentions is outdoor recreation. It's stable and it affects daily life more than you'd think.
That said, the job market is legit. And if you're into camping, this place is improving.
Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Greenfield side vs the East side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.
Good luck with whatever you decide..

Came here for a job opportunity and stayed because I'm still on the fence after all this time. The housing market is honestly solid and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.
If you value nightlife, you'll love it. The cultural scene is genuinely underrated and I've found I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. My neighborhood (Downtown) is competitive and I feel safe walking around at night.
But if you're coming from Atlanta, be prepared for the culture shock. nightlife is completely different here. And Limited shopping options.
My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is nightlife. it was the best decision I ever made. Worth doing your research before committing.

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want community vibe, then yeah this place is great. But if traffic matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want weather, then yeah this place is great. But if healthcare matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.
