Honest thoughts on life in Green Valley

Alright, We have two kids and Average temperature is around 54--F, so expect cold winters. Crime rate is something to consider -Green Valley sits at 429.7 per 100K. Rent is about $2,683/month for a decent place. The city has invested a lot in new development. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The food scene here is surprisingly good. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods.

Pros:
- Nice parks and trails
- Good schools
- Good healthcare facilities
- Active local events

Cons:
- Limited public transit
- Hot summers
- High property taxes
- Few job opportunities in some fields
- Not enough green space
Any help is appreciated. The suburbs are where most families end up. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Bought a house here in 2019 and I'm still on the fence after all this time. Property values have gone down slightly since then.
