Not sure if this has been asked before, but Household incomes average around $54,217 in Greencastle. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Thoughts? The suburbs are where most families end up.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem tough.
I've been here 4 years and the quality of life is solid. The thing nobody mentions is nightlife. It's manageable and it affects daily life more than you'd think.
That said, the job market is legit. And if you're into kayaking, this place is pretty good.
Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Greenfield side vs the Riverside side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

That said, the housing market is legit. And if you're into rock climbing, this place is solid.

Public transit is pretty good here. You'll probably need a car for most things. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now.
