Raising a family in Greenfield -thoughts?
Poverty rate is 9.5%, which is pretty low. It's a a small town city with about 19,759 people. Average temperature is around 65--F, so the weather is moderate. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The city has invested a lot in new development.
Pros:
- Low crime in most areas
- Easy commute
- Active local events
Cons:
- Limited public transit
- Hot summers
- Cold winters
- Sprawl everywhere
Thoughts? Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level.
