Raising a family in Greenfield -thoughts?

Poverty rate is 9.5%, which is pretty low. It's a a small town city with about 19,759 people. Average temperature is around 65--F, so the weather is moderate. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The city has invested a lot in new development.

Pros:
- Low crime in most areas
- Easy commute
- Active local events

Cons:
- Limited public transit
- Hot summers
- Cold winters
- Sprawl everywhere
Thoughts? Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The weather takes some getting used to. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The suburbs are where most families end up.
