What's it really like living in Greenfield?

Curious what people think. Worth the trade-offs? Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that.

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want school system, then yeah this place is great. But if cultural scene matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.

Weather-wise, the summers are pretty good and winters are pricey. You get used to it after the first year.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 3 years ago from Denver and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: If you look outside the main areas you can find deals. We're paying /mo for a 3-bed in West. It's pretty good for what you get.

Jobs: The market is established right now, especially in retail. If you're in manufacturing you might struggle.

People: Generally average. It took about 5 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: surprisingly good. Tons of options if you like farm-to-table.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem hit or miss.

I've been here 12 years and I love the pace of life here. The thing nobody mentions is pet-friendliness. It's affordable and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the traffic is legit. And if you're into kayaking, this place is solid.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Eastside side vs the Fairview side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.
