Hello, You can expect to pay around $1,097 for rent here. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Any advice would be great. Any help is appreciated.

Used to live on the Fairview side, now on the Downtown side. Completely different vibe. it exceeded my expectations.

I've lived in The Heights for about 14 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.
I'm still on the fence after all this time. When I first moved here from Chicago, I was surprised by safety. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.
A few things worth knowing:
- Good schools in most areas
- Strong sense of community
- The healthcare scene is better than expected
The downsides:
- Limited public transit options
- Urban sprawl is real
Overall I'd rate it 5/10 for families. Good luck with whatever you decide..

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 11 years ago from Tampa and here's my honest breakdown:
Housing: Lots of new construction which should help. We're paying /mo for a 3-bed in Greenfield. It's excellent for what you get.
Jobs: The market is stable right now, especially in consulting. If you're in marketing you might struggle.
People: Generally decent. It took about 8 months to build a solid friend group.
Food: underrated. Tons of options if you like sushi.
It's not for everyone but it works for us..

My experience has been mostly positive. it exceeded my expectations. The only thing I'd watch out for is dating scene. Other than that, No regrets on my end..
