Hey everyone, I'm a remote worker and Poverty rate is 10.2%, which is around average. You can expect to pay around $1,097 for rent here. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The city has invested a lot in new development. Anyone in a similar situation? It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look.

I've lived in West for about 9 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.
I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. When I first moved here from Miami, I was surprised by walkability. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.
A few things worth knowing:
- Cost of living is very reasonable
- Growing food and restaurant scene
- The cultural scene scene is average
The downsides:
- Limited high-paying job options
- Dating scene is rough
Overall I'd rate it 9/10 for young professionals. No regrets on my end..

Public transit is challenging here. You'll probably need a car for most things. it's been a really good experience overall.

it was the best decision I ever made. When I first moved here from San Diego, I was surprised by public transit. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.
A few things worth knowing:
- Great outdoor activities nearby
- Four distinct seasons
- The safety scene is tough
The downsides:
- Nightlife is limited
- Limited entertainment options
Overall I'd rate it 6/10 for retirees. Would recommend to anyone considering it..
