Job hunting in Half Moon Bay -tips?

Anyone else feel this way? With a population of 11,454, Half Moon Bay is a small town. Average temperature is around 55--F, so expect cold winters. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Should I be concerned? Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look.

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are solid, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.
