Is Happy Valley walkable?
I'm a 55-year-old physical therapist and Property taxes are high but you get good services. Thanks in advance!

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.
I'm a software engineer who relocated here from Boston about 1 years ago. The main reasons were weather and retirement.
Pros I've experienced:
- Good schools in most areas
- Four distinct seasons
- Good airport with direct flights
Cons that are real:
- Winters are long and cold
- Limited high-paying job options
Financially, we've found it improving compared to where we came from. It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts. Groceries are pricey, gas is pretty good.
Socially, it's not perfect but it works for me. Would recommend to anyone considering it..
