Working remotely from Harbor Bluffs

Been living here since 2024. You can expect to pay around $3,501 for rent here. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Thoughts? Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood.

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.

If you value healthcare, you'll love it. The walkability is genuinely average and I've found I'm still on the fence after all this time. My neighborhood (Riverside) is developing and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from Portland, be prepared for the culture shock. public transit is completely different here. And Winters are long and cold.

My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.

I've been living here for 12 years and I'd say I have mixed feelings honestly. The school system is excellent compared to other places I've lived. Overall No regrets on my end..
