Unpopular opinion about Hartford

So, I work in tech and Crime rate is something to consider — Hartford sits at 858.1 per 100K. The unemployment rate is 6.7%, which is concerning. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. What would you do? I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The weather takes some getting used to.

We moved here with our family and I love the pace of life here. Schools in Greenfield area are challenging. Kids love it here.

Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, it was the best decision I ever made. Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..
