Best neighborhoods to rent in Herrin?

Hello, Military spouse here. The median home value here is around $109,100, which is actually reasonable. You can expect to pay around $1,016 for rent here. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Any advice would be great. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level.

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. Internet is surprisingly good in most areas.
