Hey everyone, We have two kids and With a population of 5,673, Highland Lakes is a small town. Poverty rate is 3.7%, which is pretty low. Homes are going for about $562,600 on average. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The weather takes some getting used to. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Let me know your thoughts. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much.
