Holly Springs in the winter -how bad?

Random thought, Been living here since 2012. The median home value here is around $485,500, which is pretty steep. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Am I wrong here? Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much.

Weather-wise, the summers are improving and winters are growing. You get used to it after the first year.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a real estate agent who relocated here from Atlanta about 8 years ago. The main reasons were a fresh start and a job opportunity.

Pros I've experienced:
- Friendly community, easy to meet people
- Nice parks and green spaces
- Active local events and festivals

Cons that are real:
- Not a lot of cultural diversity
- Limited shopping options

Financially, we've found it pretty good compared to where we came from. Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. Groceries are competitive, gas is excellent.

Socially, it's improved dramatically in recent years. Good luck with whatever you decide..
