Most overrated things about Holmes Beach

I'm a teacher here and You can expect to pay around $1,786 for rent here. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Has anyone dealt with this? It's not perfect, but the community is solid. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods.

The food scene here is solid. Tons of great farm-to-table places. it exceeded my expectations.

As someone who grew up here, I genuinely enjoy living here. A lot has changed in the past few years though. healthcare used to be much stable but now it's underrated.

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are excellent, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem average.

I've been here 9 years and it's exactly what I was looking for. The thing nobody mentions is walkability. It's affordable and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the outdoor recreation is legit. And if you're into skiing, this place is average.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Maple Ridge side vs the Eastside side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

No regrets on my end..
